Abstract :
In this paper a new approach to construction of the noisy pixels map is presented. In order to identify noisy pixels, simple statistical analysis of pixel context is carried out. Comprehensive analysis of the algorithm performance is provided for images degraded by fixed-valued (salt-and-pepper) noise. Results of introduced method are presented and compared with results achieved with other filtration approaches.
