Abstract
The geologic reservoir fine description and reservoir engineering approaches are combined to study the structure characteristic, the sedimentary facies and the distribution of the remaining oil in the lower-middle series of strata of Hetaoyuan formation in Xiaermen Oilfield. First the detailed distribution of the microfacies is studied based on core description and petrophysical analysis. Then the geologic data are incorporated and built a integral 3D geological model, which is including the structure model, the microfacies model, the petrophysical model and the fluid model. Finally, the reservoir simulation and production history matching is donein the simulator with the performance data and the 3D geological model which is export from the geological software. Based on the foregoing result, the distribution of the remaining oil of this reservoir is studied that is offering a guidance to the potentiality digging of the remaining oil.
