Abstract :
Based on the data that obtained from Liaoning Province environmental quality statistics and LANDSAT 5 satellite image resolution data, eco-environmental quality of Liaoning coastal highway area was respectively assessed with expert assessment method and support vector machine model. Firstly, five assessment indexes of eco-environmental quality were defined which are organism abundance index,vegetation cover index, rivers density index, land deterioration index and pollution load index. Then eco-environmental quality of Liaoning coastal highway was respectively assessed based on the calculated value of indexes, results showed that the level of eco-environmental quality status of the research area is fair. Some necessary measures for environmental protection and ecological restoration in the process of highway construction were proposed based on the assessment results.
