Abstract :
With the rapid development of embedded applications based on Windows CE in China, the display technology of Chinese character in cross-platforms is particularly worthy of being concerned. Techniques for displaying Chinese character using SDL graphics are described in this paper. The display methods of the GBK Chinese lattice and the TrueType vector fonts are concerned.Finally advantages and disadvantages of each method are compared and the application fields are figured out.
