Abstract :
In this communication a tunable microstrip array antenna is proposed which works on the concept of generation of magnetostatic wave in ferrite or YIG layer. These MSW generate by applying magnetic field in perpendicular dir of magnetic field vector of electro-magnetic waves in YIG layer(s). This array antenna consist two rectangular patches on low dielectric substrate and feed by magnetostatic wave transducer on YIG, by aperture coupled feed technique which also fulfills the desire of suppressing surface wave around patch.
