Abstract
The body of the living beings may be considered as the combination of conductor (blood) and lossy dielectric (fat). The conductor and the lossy dielectric absorb power when interact with electromagnetic waves. In this study the epsiv/ (dielectric constant), impedance and power absorbed by fat of different animals were calculated (based on the experimental results). Also the variation of loss tangent (tandelta) with the variation of frequency was plotted.
