Abstract :
High frequency radio (2 MHz-30 MHz) is the ideal communication system to support the wide area operation that the brigade combat team participates in. The radio signal may be shaped to provide omni as well as directional coverage and also may be restricted in a pre determined area of operation by using appropriate antenna system. This paper presents the mechanism of gap free tactical HF radio communication for the brigade area of operation in a war theater.
