Abstract :
3D modeling softwares are widely used in many engineering field such as mining machinery, aerospace, transportation and petrochemical. Bolt is a common part for engineering, but for some bolts it is still tedious to build the 3D models. To build the accurate 3D model of bolt is significant for finite element analysis and digital simulation. For this reason a design system was developed with VC and Protoolkit, the interface of it is the same as the platform. In order to improve the reliability and stabilization, the link of the software and platform is seamless. The application of the software shown that using the software can improve the work efficiency and decrease the labor intensity of designers.
