Abstract :
In order to characterize a multi-path channel accurately, this paper proposes a fractional Brownian model of WCDMA at an arbitrary sampling rate. To establish this model, we use the characteristics of channel multiplexing in WCDMA and with the pre-existing condition that multi-path fading obeys the Rayleigh or Rice distribution. For model building, we analyzed the fractal characteristics of wireless channel based on fractal theory. Simulation results indicate that this model is more accurate than the statistical model in characterizing the multi-path channel.
