Abstract :
Based on Monte Carlo method, new node localization algorithm is proposed both in rang-based and rang-free conditions. In the range-based Monte Carlo localization (MCL), the power weight of each particle is given through the distance. Through continuous particles filter updating, the unknown nodepsilas estimated position is obtained. In the MCL range-free algorithm, only one-hop and two-hop anchors are considered. The weight is given by the filter condition. The position of unknown node is confirmed through continuous filtering. An improved DV-hop algorithm based on Monte Carlo method is also proposed. The simulation results show that these proposed algorithms provide estimates better than existing localization methods such as LS and MLE, reduce calculation complexity, and have high accuracy, robustness, fault tolerance.
