Abstract :
Calculate its index H of Hurst through the input data stream collected (including TCP packets, UDP packets, ICMP packets) from experiments in a period of time and demonstrate the fractal characteristics of a host. Meanwhile, a anomaly detection method based on the fractal dimensions was developed on this basis and the method is used to monitor network input stream from a Linux FTP server, the experimental results is feasible.
