  • Abstract
    In consideration of the limitations of fiber and capacitor drop analysis, the image drop analysis based on computer vision is put forward in this paper. With this method the limitations of fiber and capacitor analysis methods can be avoided, and the more significant is that the variation information of the liquid droppsilas shape during its forming process is acquirable, thus we can research the liquidpsilas property through the contour feature of its drop. The image drop analysis method realizes the analysis to liquid drop images through the real time record of drop growth process with CCD camera. And after further processing the region area, boundary perimeter, drop length, satiety, circularity, and the profile edge of the liquid drop image will be extracted and analyzed. These information can be as the basis in liquid analysis and discrimination. The feasibility of this method is illustrated with experiments in this paper.
