Abstract :
This paper describes the Network Service Access (NSA) layer that enables transparent interoperability between the applications running over a car-gateway´s OSGi middleware and the devices in a UPnP network. It also raises shortly the problems in bridging both standards and applying them to on-board embedded systems like a car-gateway or vehicular networks. Best efforts are focused on providing solutions to problems such as the QoS assurance, events support and particularly to security. This paper also provides a detailed description on the implementation.
