Abstract :
In this paper regular (3,6) LDPC codes is applied to IDMA system (called as LDPC-Coded IDMA system) and performance comparison between IDMA systems based on LDPC Codes and based on convolutional codes is completed over different transmitting environments without power attribution. Simulation results show that the system purposed by this paper owns excellent capacity of multiple access similar to the latter system and can acquire greater coding gain relative to the latter system through short and middle frame transmitting over three channels at the bit error rate (BER) level of 10{−3} and 10−6 when the number of users is 16. Thus higher quality data services get ensured through the front system. Meanwhile this indicates voice service may be supported better by the front system over short frame transmission once the delay of receiver hardware is further reduced.
