Abstract :
Following a brief overview of the research of “Mobile Service Test Platform”-MSTP- supported by “211 project” of China whose objective is to study Next Generation Network technologies, an analysis of the 3GPP IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) function is provided. Then an introduction of implementing IMS on Network Simulator 2 is given based on MSTP. Finally, we describe the scenario of subscribers communication based on the IMS simulation.
