Abstract :
Under exploiting the MIMO-OFDM systems spatial characteristics in wireless multipath channel, the maximum number diversity algorithms based on one preamble symbol for MIMO-OFDM timing synchronization in high-mobility environments is presented. This diversity algorithms is investigated to overcome hurdle in timing synchronization performance degrade under wireless multipath channel deep fading. The mathematical expression of timing synchronization error probability distribution function and probability density function in the MIMO-OFDM systems are derived for the diversity algorithms. The simulation results for MIMO-OFDM systems frame and symbol synchronization on high speed wireless multipath COST 207 channel model are given.
