Abstract :
A variable structure controller is proposed for the axially laminated anisotropic (ALA) and PM combined rotor synchronous motor, the reference torque and stator flux linkage are tracked by variable structure sliding mode controller (VSSMC). The principle of sliding mode controller is presented, the system is simulated with MATLAB/SIMULINK, results show torque pulsation are reduced due to the variable structure sliding mode control, the torque has fast response and robustness.
