  • Abstract
    In view of the bad work environment and serious external interference of hydraulic press, the limitations of traditional column stress detecting method which is based on resistance strain gauges is analyzed. According to the essential requirements of the system, a new digital method for detecting column stress of hydraulic press based on eddy-current displacement sensor and profibus-dp fieldbus is proposed. The basic principle and system composition are introduced. In order to test the accuracy, linearity and anti-interference ability of the system, experimental study was made. The results of the experimental study shows that the sensorpsilas precision is 1um, the linearity is less than 1%, and the system has a strong anti-interference ability. It can substitute the traditional stress detecting methods and be applied in column stress detecting of hydraulic press in specific work environment.
