Abstract :
The effect of calculation perturbation is compensated at each calculation step of Newmark method, and a new numerical method for determining unbalanced responses of dynamic systems is obtained. The proposed method is employed to analyze nonlinear dynamic behaviors of single disk symmetrical flexible rotor-bearing system. It is shown that the proposed method has high precision by comparison of numerical results using Runge-Kutta method and the proposed method. Numerical examples reveal complex nonlinear behaviors such as periodic, quasi-periodic, co-existing solutions and so on.
