Abstract :
This paper bases on the feature of the lathe processing, by analyzing the related technology of numerical control machining simulation in virtual manufacturing, a numerical control machining simulation system is studied through modeling the 3D geometry model and machining process simulation model. Based on OpenGL displaying mechanism, the system is developed taking the example of some Turning part to imitate numerical control machining process of revolving model parts in real-time on Visual C++6.0 environment. It can examine the NC program with this software to decrease the inconvenience and material waste of other methods.
