Abstract :
The concept of virtual prototyping is discussed and the makeup of unit modules of virtual prototyping system of railway vehicle and its function frame are given, as a example, the structural performance simulation integration and light weight design of D45 clamping rolling stock is researched, the method how to create simulation frame, analysis and evaluation system supported by virtual prototyping system is introduced when develop complicated products. Practical application indicated this system can supply effective technology support for the development course of product.
