Abstract :
Relieving peel-scratch without raising the remnant leaf rate is the bottleneck in further perfecting the key component of the small-sized sugarcane harvester, the cleaning device. Therefore, to solve this dilemma, a new arrangement design of cleaning elements of sugarcane leaf cleaning device is proposed based on the cleaning mechanism analysis. To obtain the crucial effecting parameters and evaluate the motion and dynamic function of this design quickly and efficiently, virtue prototype technology is applied to build up a three-dimension model and perform a simulation analysis on the automatic dynamic analysis of mechanical system (ADAMS). Thereafter, a comparison experiment study between the new arrangement and the old ones ensued, confirming the previous analysis that the new arrangement design of cleaning elements do significantly relieve sugarcane peel scratch 10%~28% and still maintain satisfying cleaning effect. This provides reference to tackle the design dilemma in such a quick and efficient way.
