Abstract
In this paper, constant apparent power control technique of the double-fed machine is studied theoretically, and the mathematical model of constant apparent power control is presented according to the principle of vector control. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the model and control strategy is feasible. It not only can make full use of reserve capacity of the motor, but also can save about 30% energy and improve operating efficiency of the system.
