Abstract :
CAC (Call Admission Control) scheme effectively regulates the traffic load of a network such that uninterrupted service is offered to every admitted user without over penalizing the new admission requests. It incorporates the call-arrival rates, the user mobility across the network and guarantees of the user´s quality of service. This task can be accomplished by properly managing the available network resource in an optimum way. The adaptive modulation is powerful technique to improve spectral efficiency in wireless transmission over fading channel. Traditionally Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) systems have fast power control for linking adaptation. Recently the adaptive modulation has an alternative link adaptation method that promises to raise the overall system capacity. By using the proposed logic, it is possible to maximize the resources of utilization and as well guarantee minimum blocking and dropping rates.
