Abstract
This invited talk addresses to show current trends for IPTV technologies and defines how different quality models evolve with the distribution of IPTV contents. Concretely, author centers the discussion on studying how diverse frameworks use the most recent IPTV content distribution techniques in conjunction with different quality models like quality of service (QoS) and quality of experience (QoE) respectively. In addition, the talk shows use cases dealing with the experiences of IPTV carriers that have launched the service yet, some that are planning to do so, and competitive reactions to IPTV.
