Abstract :
Urban large scale traffic congestion is often formed from the individual intersections traffic jam. According to the characteristics of these intersections, this paper presents the conception of traffic bottleneck. To prevent bottleneck intersections queuing back, this paper analysis bottleneck control strategy and its trigger conditions, and presents traffic bottleneck control strategy in single and coordination situation, and then conceives single bottleneck control model and coordination bottleneck control model. At last, we prove the control effect of single bottleneck control model in practice.
