Abstract
In this paper, the authors propose an energy and mobility aware system for wireless sensor network. The remaining battery capacity, mobility, velocity, and distance to the critical point are taken into consideration for the next moving, and a fuzzy logic system is applied to the decision making for the moving possibility of mobile unit. Simulation results show that this scheme can extend the network lifetime longer than the general applied fixed-rate sampling system, and meets the accuracy requirements of applications.
