            Abstract : 
We present 10 W room-temperature, pure CW, polycrystalline Cr2+:ZnS laser, broadly tunable over 1940-2780 nm, with maximum output power of 7.4 W at 2410 nm, and above 5 W over 2120-2590 nm.
