Abstract :
We have achieved over 25 Kw CW operation with Yb:YAG thin disks, which was achieved under very high performance conditions, where slope optical-optical efficiencies approaching 70%, strong ASE suppression, and high heat removal rates were demonstrated simultaneously. Discussion of numerous interacting parameters will be presented with supporting data.
