Abstract :
We report an extended-cavity femtosecond optical parametric oscillator, based on MgO:PPLN and synchronously pumped by a commercial Yb:fibre laser. Preliminary results show 15 MHz-repetition-frequency, 475 fs-duration pulses at 1.5 mum, with energies of 36 nJ.
