Abstract
The paper is devoted on modeling, simulation and analysis of seismic response of structures at seismic excitation. On the base of generated artificial strong motion time histories that simulate realistic ground motions from Vrancea seismic source, were investigated the nonlinear seismic response of structures with active control system. Structural control provides opportunity to realize measures for reduction of seismic vulnerability of high risk structures. A regenerative force actuation network were used in structural control system for reduction the excitations during possible seismic excitation. Different optimal control regimes were investigated for reduction of displacements. Experimental results for three storey building were received with simulation modeling, where the model of structure was situated on shaking table. Simulation results for active control with magneto-rheological and tuned mass dampers are shown.
