Research of Report Development Based on Component

Software reuse technology is more and more applied in vertical application domain, and it shows great advantage in software development. As an alone domain, report development is a difficult problem all the time. Though analyzing characteristics of report development domain and extracting report function components applying component technology in report development process is a practicable solution for this issue. In this paper, report development based on component is demonstrated, meanwhile, report development domain model is presented, report function components are defined by carrying out object oriented domain analysis and domain modeling. Applying software reuse theory and methods in report development domain provides forceful support for component-based software reuse theory in vertical application domain and gives a new solution for report development.
