Abstract

This project is concerned to apply telemedicine with latest technologies available in the world. The project consists of two stages. In the first stage the ECG signal of the patient will be spontaneously transmitted to the nurse station to reduce the overcrowded of nurses inside the ICU, this happen continuously using wireless communication (ZIGBEE technology which is a new technology better than the Bluetooth technology) to the nurse station, where we detect the ECG signal on the monitor in the nurse station we concerned to make some analysis to the ECG signal using signal processing and detect new parameters as heart rate . The second stage is concerned to transmit the ECG signal to the physician mobile, this happen using the GSM technology (MMS).
