Design and Implementation of Network Resource Management System Based on SNMP

In order to alleviate the burden of network administrators in the network resource management field, a network resource management system is designed and implemented based on the design idea of SNMP. This system which based on VC++ platform utilizes the principle of network communication and the feature of network resource, implements management of the IP addresses and the monitoring of the servers, host computers, routers, switches, databases and so on. The implementation of the system achieves effective management of the network resource. The system has favorable expansibility, reliability, security. The system has the superb expansibility of functions, broad application foreground, and it can gain good social and economic benefits.
