Abstract :
The electrical energy storage technology has already become an important technical method to level the load, suppress load fluctuation of electrical network and to guarantee the specific user´s electricity reliability. In Hangtou 35kV substation in Shanghai, which also is an energy storage experiment yard, we arrange a 100kW × 8h sodium sulfur battery, a 100k × 2h lithium-ion battery and a 100k × 1.5h Ni/MH battery energy storage systems.
