Abstract :
In this work we have studied the transient stability limits in the power system in witch is connected a wind farm with squirrel cage induction generators when the grid is subjected to three-phase short-circuit fault. In order to improve voltage recovery at the terminals of an induction machine and rise a critical clearing time, reactive power injection is used in this work. The models for this work are made with ATP/EMTP program.
