  • Abstract
The sorption problem is one of the crucial problems in the electromagnetic suspension vehicles, which could lead to fatal sequent. To detect the sorption trend, a methods of comparing the measured value of gap with the threshold of protection gap is introduced. Yet, the measured value of gap is influenced by sample noise and electromagnetic interference. In this paper, the detection of sorption problem in hybrid maglev system is researched on, and a gap observer based on extended Kalman filter is designed to reduce the probability of inaccurate judgement of the sorption trend in hybrid maglev system. At last, the method has been proved available by simulation.
