  • Abstract
    Investor Relations is proved to be very important for listed companies, but how to carry out strategic management of it? Utilizing strategic management tools, through cases analysis, references synthesis and concept analysis, the paper puts forward a strategic management framework of Investor Relations. The framework exploits key problems and strategic issues existing in IR management of Chinese listed companies, including strategic objectives, key internal factors, and key external conditions. In the framework, it´s advised that according to different key internal factors and under different key external conditions, different implementing policies should be applied. Key internal factors include investor relations working team ability and experience, volunteer disclosure intent, different strategic objectives etc. Key external conditions include various capital market segments, overall capital market climate and so on. Various implementing policies include positive developing, maintenance and cooperation, giving up and defense.
