  • Abstract
Traditional methods for rendering a thermoplastic static dissipative have included the addition of surfactants or solid conductive particles such as carbon black. Now, one of the fastest growing areas in ESD control materials is all-polymeric thermoplastic compound technology including conductive and dissipative polymers. Key advantages include permanent and humidity independent static control and the ability to tune the electrical properties for the application.
