Abstract

Studies made on renewable energy sources have become apparent in the last years with that fossil fuel sources quickly tend to decrease. Among renewable energy sources, intense studies on photovoltaic systems are carried out. In this study, it is mentioned about programmable logic controller (PLC) based data monitoring and controlling system which was established to monitor and record the electrical data such as current and voltage of electrical energy produced by 5 kW photovoltaic energy production system being installed in Pamukkale University, Clean Energy House, Denizli, Turkey.
