Abstract :
In a mathematical model of microwave heating of oil stratum the dependence of oil physical parameters versus temperature was taken into account. The model includes a system of two-dimensional interconnected equations of an electromagnetic wave propagating and heat transfer. A numerical simulation of microwave heating stratum of Russian oilfield was carried out with finite element method. Optimal parameters of electromagnetic radiation source were obtained.
