Abstract :
Barium-strontium-calcium titanate ((Ba0.6Sr0.3 Ca0.1)TiO3) is considered as a prospective material for IR-detectors. In this work we investigate photoluminescence (PL) of trivalent terbium ions in (Ba0.6Sr0.3Ca0.1)TiO3l, fabricated in porous anodic alumina using sol-gel method. Room-temperature PL of Tb3+ ions with an intensive band at 543 nm is observed for Tb-doped xerogels fabricated by spinning on porous anodic alumina and annealed at 600, 750 900degC. The possibility of application of the fabricated materials for development of devices with tunable photonic band-gap is discussed.
