Abstract :
The results of an experimental research of frequency dependence of attenuation factor in a slow wave structure such as the slotted-ridge waveguide in the basic pass-band and in a stop-band are presented. Researches were conducted in a short-wave millimetric (mm) range of wave lengths. Attenuation characteristic curves of a system versus the quality of its surface depending on methods of manufacturing and ways of processing are investigated.
