Abstract :
On basis of a nonlinear model of relativistic TWT and BWO on irregular hollow waveguides taking into account both propagating, and supercritical waves and finite conductivity of metal walls, the optimization problem of an irregular waveguide profile of the new-type superpower Cherenkov oscillator with a cathode filter-groove had been solved. It is showed that the efficiency of this microwave oscillator can reach (45...60)% at current of the electron beam about 2000 A.
