Abstract :
An experimental research for small elongated objects´ detection in microwave imaging with circularly polarized wave is presented. It is shown that with circularly polarized wave it is possible to detect the elongated objects regardless orientation of the objects, and it is possible to determine object direction in this case. Also, it is experimentally proven that the field scattered from an elongated object highly depends on illuminating wave polarization direction even when the object size is comparable with the to wave length.
