Abstract :
A method of matrix pencil under the approximation of two-dimensional narrow-band signals is proposed. Estimation of the potential immunity of the method for the signal containing two complex-conjugated two-dimensional exponents is presented. A statistical modeling shows that the estimation error of expansion parameters of two-dimensional signal is situated above the bound of Cramer-Rao on 10 dB, which is indicative of the efficiency of the offered modification of the method of matrix pencil.
