Abstract :
In this paper, we present a electromechanical robot based on ARM&DSP and do the research on its control technique and method based on modern design philosophy and techniques. First we give a brief introduction of mechanical construction of the experimental robot, and then we focuses on the embedded speech and vision recognition system discussion on the ARM&DSP platform. We deeply illustrate the signal control method and mechanism with a multi-layer architecture. The multi-modal issues of speech & vision recognition are also analyzed further. It is a new effective and efficient solution for the design for the application robot.
