Abstract :
To effectively support complex product design, effect model in TRIZ (theory of inventive problem solving) is extended, and E-FBS (extended-effect driven function-behavior-structure) model is proposed. Computer aided product innovation based on extended-effect (E-CAPI) software is developed. A case study shows that the proposed approach and software are feasible.
