Abstract :
In this paper we investigate the dynamics of a buckled beam subjected to high-frequency excitation. In particular, we focus on the difference between the boundary conditions for the stabilization. It is analytically clarified that the high-frequency excitation shifts the bifurcation point under the compressive force. The stable equilibrium states of the beam is discussed. Furthermore, we show some experimental results.
