Abstract
We have developed communication and device DTMs for Yokogawa´s proprietary field communication protocol BRAIN. The BRAIN is analog based communication protocol like HART and has large install base in Japanese market. Using the both DTMs users can configure the BRAIN devices with FDT based software tool along with other protocol devices such as HART, PROFIBUS and FOUNDATON fieldbus.
